Accounting Consultant is needed to perform the following duties:
  • · Maintaining an effective system of internal controls, ensuring compliance with Corporate GAAP
  • · Preparation of financial statements as per GAAP.
  • · Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
  • · Maintain journal entries and all general ledgers and ensure reconciliation of all statements as per GAAP.
  • · Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
  • · Review accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and make or direct corrective entries.
  • · Monitor all reporting request and prepare reports on a regular basis to ensure resolution.
  • · Perform regular analysis on accounting issues and resolve it efficiently
  • · Ensure SOX and internal control compliance standards are maintained.
  • · Develop various systems to improve efficiency of accounting process.
  • · Develop accurate financial forecasts and targets, tracking, and reporting, analyzing actual performance.
  • · Work with corporate accounting and accounting policy teams to understand transactions that the company enters and the accounting treatment / disclosure in accordance with GAAP
  • · General Ledger accounting management.
  • · Assist with the budget development and compare the different types of budgets for effective application.
  • · Assist in the preparation of annual overhead budget, operational budgets and inventory projections
  • · Analyze and monitor budgets and expenditures for compliance with fiscal accountability and reporting requirements.
  • · Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • · Develop accounting systems and documents to support the input and handling of financial data and reports.
  • · Co-ordinate with management & department of corporations to ensure accuracy in reports filled with SEC.
  • · Prepare draft filling to SEC and submit it to the audit committed/board for approval.
  • · Identify and implement process improvements across the finance organization to drive simplification and allow improved data availability and reporting to executive management
  • · Prepares accounting operating procedures and detailed flow charts;
  • · Assets senior partner in preparation of audit schedules for various internal and financial audits.
  • · Identify and implement ways to improve existing processes
  • · Develop various internal control programs and maintenance programs.
  • · Ensure implementation of audit recommendation and help corporations mitigate corporate risk.
  • · Prepare worksheet as per GAAP & PCAOB for testing revenue, cost of sales, fixed assets, inventory and other major account heads.
  • · Monitor inventory of stock accounts, prepare status reports for all fixed assets.
  • · Ensure documentation provided by corporations meets the audit guidelines of GAAP
  • · Co-ordinate with management & department and ensure optimal quality of service to client.
  • · Handling appropriate documentation, adequate testing & reporting on financial control.
Bachelor Degree is required in Finance or Accounting
